Personal Plea Concerning The Refiner's Fire
Today, I want to release something. I know this will not be a popular subject and
many people will not receive this. But, someone has to say this.
I am not one who is afraid of controversy in the Name of Righteousness and
according to the Bible. I am not afraid of that..of what men think. I have been in
ministry long enough not to be afraid of men but to fear God above one single
person walking on this earth. And, you know, this is something that I want to say.
I don't think that there is anyway to say this..you know, that it is time.
God is separating the 'Bride' from 'The Church'. Now, just hold on one moment
of commenting what I mean with this, that there is a difference between the 'Bride
of Christ', who He is coming back for and those who are lukewarm in church,
those being bound by religion, just following religion in the way they were just
brought up, being bound by religion, or because it is a safety net for them. We
always say that it is 'fire protection' for one day, your 'get out of jail free' card.
What do I mean by that? Jesus is seeking 'lovers' and 'true followers' in this
time and also 'true friends'.
There were always only a few people in the Bible who had the honor of being
called, 'the friends of God'. Again, Moses, Abraham, and John the Beloved. There
were very few who were actually called His friends. And, the Bible tells us in the
Book of Matthew that many will come to Jesus at the end of the age and say,
'Lord, didn't we do all these things in Your Name; didn't we prophecy and cast out
demons. We laid hands on the sick. And, you did all these things; but, He will say,
'Depart from me because I never knew you...you doers of iniquity. Matthew 7:23 is
one of the scariest scriptures in the whole Bible. Yes, it is a scary scripture that we
can do all the right things and still not know Jesus personally.
And, I feel led to share this. I've been a believer in Jesus Christ for over 50
years. But, part of that time, I never had that 'real' relationship with Him until He
came and saved me from suicide and revealed Himself to me in a real and
personal way. From that time on, I lived, breathed, moved, and had my being in
wanting Him with all my heart, with all my soul, and all my strength and began toknow the voice of the Holy Spirit. For a lot of us has missed so much in our hard-
heartedness and being too set in the old wine skin and not desiring the refreshingeveryday from Him.
The Bible tells us that those who love Jesus will follow Him in total love and
devotion, as close as lovers share and cling to one another, and only have a heart
for one another. As the scriptures say, 'As the deer pants for streams of water, so
my soul longs for you...Psalm 42:1.
Yes, going to church is good. Reading your Bible is good. Praying is good. But,
what is important is to get your life in order, repent of any sins that you are
knowingly committing, be baptized, and follow Him with every part of your being in
you.
Everything in your life that is not in line with the Word of God, get it out of your
life. Hear me and hear me clearly, get it out of your life, repent of your sins and
turn back to Jesus Christ and stop playing games with Him. Because a time is
coming that the time is going to be up.
Jesus is coming back for a pure and spotless Bride. It scares me that not
everyone is going to make it. And, why would you take the chance on your
eternity with Him? Stop playing games with God, stop playing games in the
church. Don't go to church on Sunday and then go out the door and start acting
like the world. Make a decision to fully follow Him with all your heart, mind, soul,
and strength.
This is not going to be a popular opinion. But, I don't really care at this point.
Because I really care about your salvation and your soul. And, someone needs to
say this.
Maybe, this is confirmation for you that it is time to get things in order, to stop
watching that pornography, to stop sleeping around, to stop fornicating, whatever
the sin maybe. It is still sin. It's time to clean up our action in this life. But, it is a
process of sanctification of wanting to become more and more like Jesus every
single day, in running the race. The moment we think that we are okay in our
spiritual state, that's when self righteousness creeps in and that's a very
dangerous position to be in, that you find yourself acting more like the world than
the Lord Jesus Christ.
I will close now before I go down a rabbit hole but I just wanted to release that
the Lord is coming back for His Glorious Bride. We don't know how much time we
have. I don't believe we have that much time left. We need to get our acts
together. The church needs to get its act together. And, Jesus is looking for
'lovers', looking for 'true friends'. He is not looking for those doing out of obligation
or religion because that isn't going to get you anywhere.
I want to pray for you right now. If the Holy Spirit is convicting you of something
right now, I want to pray for you. I want to lead you in this prayer because you can
clean your life up right now with Jesus.
Prayer: So, I thank you, Lord, for this person, Holy Spirit. I thank you for pointing
certain things out in their life, that it's coming to mind, that they are thinking of
things that you want to clean up, Father, in the Name of Jesus. And, Lord I pray
that you would lead them right now in this prayer of repentance in coming back to
you with their whole heart, becoming true followers and lovers and friends of the
Lord Jesus Christ. So, whatever is coming up in your heart, just say it out
loud....'Lord, I want to change. I want to come back to die to self so you can come
forth in my life.' I want to follow you with my whole heart. Forgive me. Wash me
(afresh), cleanse me, endow my heart now with the 'power from on high'. Help me
be a witness for you as recorded in Acts l:8...'He said to them, "It is not for you to
know the times or the dates, which the Father has fixed by His own authority. But
you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the
ends of the earth'. Amen.
Scripture: Romans 8:4...That the righteousnes of the law might be fulfilled in us,
who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. |
