Signs in the Heavens

Much is being said about the coming 'Signs in the Heavens' in the form of blood moons falling on the Jewish Passovers on April l5, 20l4, and April 4, 20l5, and on the Feasts of Tabernacles on October 8th, 20l4, and September 28, 20l5. Events like this have happened only three other times through past centuries and they were linked to the Nation of Israel's Feast Days.

One example was when the Jews were expelled from Spain in l493 and l494. Another blood moon came in l949 and l950. It came after the nation of Israel became a nation in l948, giving the Jews a homeland for the first time in thousands of years. Another blood moon came in l967 and l968 which was linked to the Six-Day War giving the Jewish people access to the old section of Jerusalem and the temple wall.

Some would say this all is just a coincidence. But, according to the Word of God says that when the sun refuses to shine and a solar eclipse is expected in 20l4 through 20l5 and the moon will be turned to blood, then 'man's redemption draweth nigh.

Joel 2:3l says, 'The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord.'

The New Testament also says in Matthew 24:29-30...'Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her 'light'. Then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Acts 2 reads...And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 'The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord.'

Not only are there four blood moons on April l5, 20l4, October 8, 20l4, April 4, 20l5, and September 28, 20l5, but there will be a total solar eclipse on March 20th, 20l5, coincides with the biblical calender of Nisan l. Nisan l begins the Jewish New Year according to the scriptures. Nisan l in history coincides also with the opening of Moses tabernacle in the desert/wilderness. This was the day a great sign came and fire fell to light the burnt offering in the tabernacle.

So we are about to have a total solar eclipse beginning the religious year for the Israelites followed two weeks later by a total lunar eclipse and blood moon occurring on the Jewish Passover followed by the next solar eclipse which will be a partial eclipse on September l3th which falls on the Jewish feast of Rosh Hashanah.

According to Judaism, this is the day Adam was created. This also begins a Jewish Shemittah year, a 7th year, for the land of Israel giving the land time to rest.

On the last two shemittah years on Rosh Hashanah, there was a global economic catastrophe. The Dow Jones dropped 7 percent. Is it possible that could mean another major financial collapse of the world's economy?

According to reports, an eclipse of the sun signals danger to the nations and the moon danger to Israel. This will be followed by the total lunar eclipse and blood moon on the Feast of Tabernacles.

NASA reports that the total blood moon on September 28, 20l5, will be a super moon and seen in Jerusalem during the feast of sukkot while the Jewish people will be dwelling outside in the sukkahs looking up toward the skies.

This coming event can only be deemed as astronomical. Truly, this is a mighty sign in the Heavens from God.

According to sources, what does this mean for us? “ It is not just a signal but a signal His appearing.”

According to Pastor Mark Blitz, he believes the events surround the second coming also will happen to the very day of the Fall Feasts.
